Calling All Artists…
The second year of a very special art exhibition is underway. The Inspirations From The Forest, a fine art show is now receiving entries. The Tahoe National Forest, Nevada County Superintendent of Schools Office and the Center for the Arts are sponsoring this year’s weekend celebration with an art exhibition opening the festivities. This three-day event celebrates our beautiful forests and open spaces through the arts. Music, dance, poetry and fine art will fill the Center for the Arts. We encourage artists to down load the entry and come show your art.

Eligibility: Original art works created within the last two years. No copies or prints. Artist must be available to hand deliver their art on receiving day (See calendar).

Entry Fee: $10 entry fee for up to 3 pieces of artwork, non refundable Make checks payable to: the Center for the Arts.

Entry procedures: All entries must be submitted by a slide; 35mm, color and standard 2”x2”, in cardboard or plastic mounts. Slides must have with labeling to include; artist’s name, title, media, framed size and mark the top on slide submissions. Discs are also accepted. File on dick may be no bigger then 10 MB, Tiff format.

March 23 Slide and disk deadline
March 30 Notifications of work accepted for the show
April 9 Hand delivered artwork to Gallery 9am – 1PM
April 19 Art Reception time: 5 – 7 PM
May 7th Artwork comes down and is picked up 9AM – noon
Sales: 25% of sales donated to The Center for the Arts
