Dear Potential Instructor:

Send your completed Class Proposal form and one or more promotional JPEG photos to , or you may drop the proposal off at the Center Box Office during regular box office hours which are noon-7pm Tuesday through Saturday.

If you are selected to present your class, you will be required to complete a W-9 form and will receive a 1099 at the end of the calendar year for your records. You are an independent contractor and not an employee of the Center for the Arts.

Payment: You will be paid 75% of the class tuition (minus the $20 per person registration fee) on the Tuesday following your last class.

Tuition: All Center members will receive a discount on classes. The discount is $10 for classes up to $199, $20 for classes $200 to $299, $30 for classes $300 to $399, $40 for classes $400 to $499, and $50 for classes $500 or more.

Your classroom will be clean when you arrive. You are responsible for setting up any tables, chairs, or other items for your class and also for returning all items to their original places when you leave. If you need storage space, you will need to arrange for it ahead of your class time.

The Center will promote your classes through our website, our monthly newsletter, articles in the Union, and other newspapers and magazines. For each semester, beginning Fall 2007, the Center will produce a catalog of classes available at the Center. We will provide you with promotional materials to distribute as well.
